Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women

Please find the sound files from the Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women at the links below. As is the tradition in our parish, the men took over the kitchen, prepared the meal, washed up the dishes, and otherwise gave our very hard working sisters a break on this feast of the celebration of the holy myrrh-bearers. Congratulations to all who celebrate their names days today! Christ is Risen!

Thomas Sunday

Please find the sound files for the feast of Thomas Sunday at St. Vladimir's below. There are two sermons - the first is the Paschal Sermon of Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad. The second is a few words from Fr. Gregory about the Resurrectional Gospel read on Thomas Sunday and the 11 Resurrectional Gospels read at Sunday Matins weekly. We promised to provide Metropolitan Hilarion's sermon in Russian - you can find that here.

Bright Monday

Please find the files from the Divine Service of Bright Monday at St. Vladimir's below. The Divine Liturgy on Bright Monday was a Children's Liturgy, with the young people singing, serving in the altar, manning the candle stand, preparing the food for the post-liturgy meal, and all other important duties surrounding this Divine Service. We thank the young people and their parents who made this wonderful day possible!
