Hodges decision and how we should understand this as Orthodox Christians, as well as highlights from Divine Services at St. Vladimir's last week. The commentary on the Supreme Court decision is not meant to be a statement on behalf of the entire Church, but rather a reflection on what we as a parish should consider in light of this decision. This is one of those commentaries that will no doubt be a bit controversial. There is a temptation to say nothing. No doubt to some we will have said too much. And that will anger some. There is another tempation to say too much. No doubt to some we will have said too much. And that will anger others. We hope we have said just the right amount - just what we as a parish need to be able to reinvigorate our mission to bring Orthodox Christianity to all - and to bring anger to none.
